General Terms & Conditions Parfuma

Welcome to Parfuma. In these terms and conditions, we explain how we work together when you use our website or place an order. These rules are designed to protect you as a customer and to ensure the quality of our service.

Parfuma is a luxury beauty & perfumery boutique in Flanders with physical stores in Antwerp, Hove, and the Wijnegem Shopping Center, as well as an online shop serving Belgium, the Netherlands, and the rest of Europe.

1. Identity of the entrepreneur

These terms of sale govern the use of the website of PARFUMA BVBA, with company number BE0406370513 and registered office at Eiermarkt 31, 2000 Antwerp (hereinafter referred to as ‘the seller’). The terms of sale also apply whenever a reservation or order is placed through the Parfuma BVBA webshop via www.parfuma.com.

Users may view and print the information on the site free of charge for personal use. Anyone placing an order (hereinafter ‘the customer’) confirms that they are a natural person and legally competent. Matters not expressly provided for are governed by the provisions of Belgian law

2. Offer and Order

An order can only be placed through www.parfuma.com. Placing an order constitutes a payment obligation and is considered an explicit acceptance of these general terms of sale.

Consumer Protection:

These general terms of sale apply only to consumers within the meaning of Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, as introduced by the Law of 21 December 2013 (Belgian Official Gazette, 30 December 2013). Orders are assumed to be placed for non-professional purposes. Traders should contact customer service.

The seller may refuse an order in cases of serious suspicion of abuse of rights, bad faith, or if stock is depleted.

3. Payment and Prices

Prices include 21% VAT (except for intra-community shipments to VAT-registered customers: 0%). Payment is made via:

  • Parfuma Gift Card

  • MasterCard, Visa, Bancontact, iDEAL

  • PayPal and Klarna

  • Bank transfer (processing time 3 to 4 business days)

4. Delivery in Flanders, the Netherlands & Europe

Parfuma delivers throughout Europe with bpost. Shipping costs depend on your location and the order amount:

Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg & Germany:

  • Order < €60: €5 shipping fee.

  • Order > €60: Free shipping.

Rest of Europe:

  • Order < €100: €15 shipping costs.

  • Order between €100 and €200: €8 shipping costs.

  • Order > €200: Free shipping. 

Pick-up at our physical stores:

You can also choose to pick up your order free of charge at any Parfuma store of your choice (Antwerp, Hove, or Wijnegem Shopping Center).

Delivery Times:

The delivery period starts after receipt of payment. We strive for the shortest possible timeframe: a minimum of 1 business day and a maximum of 30 days after receipt of payment for Belgium, and a minimum of 2 business days and a maximum of 30 days for other countries. Saturday delivery is not available. The seller is not liable for delays caused by the carrier.

5. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

In accordance with Articles VI.47-52 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, you have 14 days to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason.

  • Return period: 14 days after physical receipt.

  • Return address: Parfuma, attn. Webshop, Mechelsesteenweg 1, 2540 Hove.

  • Exceptions: Products that, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, are not suitable for return and whose seal has been broken are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

6. Warranty and Complaints

Any issue with delivery, damage, or a quality defect must be reported in writing within seven days via contact@parfuma.com or by registered mail to the following address: Parfuma BVBA, Mechelsesteenweg 1, 2540 Hove. We provide the statutory warranties for every product purchased from us. However, the seller is not liable for force majeure, accidents, misuse, or incorrect handling of an item by the customer.

7. Privacy and Intellectual Property

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy in accordance with the European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). All parts of the site are the exclusive property of the seller and are protected by copyright.

Yes, orders over €60 are shipped free of charge in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, and Germany. For the rest of Europe, this applies to orders over €200.
