Essential Parfums was founded in 2018 by Géraldine Archambault, who, after nearly thirty years in the fragrance industry, wanted to take a different approach. Her vision was both simple and bold: to create exceptional, creative fragrances that are accessible to a wider audience. By eliminating unnecessary packaging, marketing costs and intermediaries, the fragrance house keeps its prices fair without compromising on quality.
The story behind the fragrance house
At Essential Parfums, the perfumer takes centre stage. While many brands keep the identity of their perfumers hidden, Essential Parfums proudly features the creator's name on both the bottle and the packaging. Renowned perfumers such as Dominique Ropion and Quentin Bisch have contributed to the collection. Ropion, for example, created Velvet Iris, a soft, powdery iris fragrance with a woody heart.
